weekly monitoring blog

Last week i acheived catching up on all of the coursework that i currently owed and now i am fully up to date with all my work. This weekend i filmed my final product and now i just need to capture the footage and get it onto the computers so that i can edit it in final cut express. Everything i had planned in media last week went as i planned it to and i got everything done. The only equipment that i have used in media in the last week is the camera that i used to film my footage and the tripod i used to film it on.
This week i just need to capture my footage and edit it on final cut express. This week i will improve my skills on final cut express when editing my footage.

Last week i caught up on the work that i owed in media and got up to date. This week i plan to get fully up to date on all my unit 3 work including my production work. I am going to go about completing my work this week by coming back on lunchtimes working in the libray in my free's and doing work at home and hopefully get it all complete and up to date by the end of the week.

Last week i caught up on most of the coursework that i owed and now it is ready to print off and hand in. Last week was also the first week of my unit 3 production in media communication & production. Everything i did went as i planned it too all though i would of liked to of got a bit more work complete but i will get this work completed in the next couple of days.
This week i am going to aim to get fully caught up on all my media coursework by wednesday.

Production monitoring blog

Last week everything didnt run as smoothly as i was hoping as i really struggled to come up with a good idea for my product. I have come up with an idea but will have to come up with a new one as it would be to difficult to film.
This week i need to complete my micro case study and my job roles table and the graphs for my questionairre. Im going about acheiving handing in this work by doing it in the libray in my free's and im attending a lunch time session with lee today.
Problems i could come accross this week is struggling to complete the work i have but if this does happen i will go to lee and ask him about what i am struggling with.

Skills Development Blog – Continuity Filming

I storyboarded my sequence of a person walking over to something sitting down and interacting with an object in a way that would conotote loneliness and sadness with a use of tracking shots to show he is on his own in his surroundings. 

I handled the camera alright when i was shooting my sequence and i also used the tracks to film a smooth tracking shot.

I had a problem of moving the camera smoothly when it was on the tri-pod but this could be solved by loosening it up on the top of the tri-pod to allow it move more smoothly.

To improve my sequence i would try to handle the equipment better and perhaps plan out my shots in a better way and to film the sequence when i have more time to finish it as in a lesson you feel like you’re in a hurry to get it down and it may not be up to the best standards it could of been.
